Konstantinos Marathianakis was enchanted with the art of Jewelry as a young man. He devoted himself to Jewelry making with the passion of the amateur and the conscientiousness of the professional.
He studied Greek (Cretan, Mycenaean, Macedonian) Jewelry in depth and, especially, Byzantine Jewelry, from where he draws his inspiration. He is amongst the first jewelers that dealt with this type of art in the early 60s, with vision and consistency. Many of his handmade miniature works of art have received awards in various fairs and exhibitions hosted in Greece and abroad. Today, with many decades of experience and deep knowledge on the art, he continues with the same zeal to create Jewelry that are works of art. Today, together with the valuable support of his son and daughter, they are visualizing and creating a new and remarkable journey in the history of Greek Jewelry.
